I would love to have a pet chicken in my home. My room is about 8′ by 6′, and we have a medium sized, fenced in outdoor yard. I have two dogs, but I keep them away from my guinea pig so it shouldn’t be too hard for a chicken. But where do I start? Can I keep them indoors most of the time and take them out in the yard once or twice a day? Can I use chicken diapers? Is it better to get an adult or raise them from a chick?
